Community based spam filter a good choice?

I haven't used the community filter feature on my spam filter yet but I was wondering if it would be a good idea to implement it? I would like to get our company to use the spam filter plugin and install on each Outlook 2007 client so that each employee can blacklist and whitelist each email themselves for a better accuracy. Has anyone used this type of filter on their email spam filter? How successful was it?
